TORRINGTON – According to a recent announcement, a bake sale will be held on Saturday, February 22 at the Torrington Pinnacle Bank Main Street location. The sale will kick off at 8 a.m. and run until 12 p.m. and the proceeds go to a local Torrington resident, Crystal Brafford.
“Crystal is a resilient mother of three whose been diagnosed with terminal small cell lung cancer. During her last battle with lung cancer, Crystal has also been diagnosed with brain metastasis,” the announcement read.
“Your kindness and support are proudly appreciated from the heart,” the announcement concluded.
Baked goods will be offered at free will donation to help offset the costs Brafford and her family are facing as they navigate through these challenging times, local business owner, Marlene Galvan explained.
