LINGLE – Aric Ryan Wantoch died Tuesday March 18, 2025, in his home in Lingle.
Aric was born August 25, 1977, in Omaha Nebraska to Paul and Sharon Wantoch and is preceded in death by his wife, Tracey and his mother Sharon.
After completing the 10th grade in Windside, Nebraska, Aric went on to study for his ASE and became a Master Technícian. He worked for PebBoys in Allentown, Pennsylvania and other PebBoys establishments in the area before marrying the love of his life, Tracey LaBar on October 22, 2000. Aric loved the open road, he and Tracey worked as a team for Swift Transportation for several years before buying a house in Elizabeth, Colorado, at which time Aric began hauling cattle.
Tragedy struck in 2017 when Aric lost Tracey to cancer. After this devastating loss, Aric moved to Torrington in 2018, where he owned and operated Pioneer Performance Automotive Repair.
Aric was always willing to help people who were traveling through town and needed assistance with a vehicle breakdown. He would stay late hours to make sure they were able to continue their journey. His friends will always remember his generous spirit, and kind heart despite his rough exterior. He will be very missed.
