LINGLE – The Lingle-Fort Laramie (LFL) Doggers 1990 state title team and 2025 1A Wyoming champions gathered to celebrate the two historic basketball seasons at a dinner in Lingle on Friday, June 15.
Mike True coached the 1990 team, assisted by Ron Halley. The 1990 Doggers won the state title after posting a 20-2 season record as a 2A program.
In 2025, head coach Chris Cook and assistant coaches Jeshua Arnusch and Neil Baker led the Doggers to the state title following an unprecedented and undefeated season (28-0).
Nearly the entire 1990 Doggers varsity team showed up to the dinner and several had not seen their coaches since their high school graduation, coach Cook said.
Since records were compiled in 1932, the Doggers won three state titles in 1941, 1990 and 2025.
