TORRINGTON – Memorial services for Alicia Schilreff-Rodriguez, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 9, 2023 at North Hills Baptist Church with Pastor David Anderson officiating. It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the sudden passing of Alicia on Friday, September 1, 2023 at the age of 44. The family requests memorial donations be made in the name of Alicia Rodriguez to Eastern Wyoming College Foundation/Cosmetology Scholarship. Cremation has taken place and the Colyer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be sent to www.colyerfuneralhome.com.

Alicia will be lovingly remembered by her children, Tyger and Tayte Rodriguez, her grandchildren, her mother Marcia Schilreff, brother Ryan and his wife Sommer and their children. Alicia had so many aunts, uncles, and close friends who will also forever hold her in their hearts. Alicia was preceded in death by her loving father, Mike Schilreff; grandparents George and Leona Schilreff; grandparents Robert and Nadine Knadler; and uncle Ronald Knadler.

Alicia was born in Torrington on November 7, 1978. She graduated Torrington High School with the class of 1997. After graduation she attended Eastern Wyoming College where she obtained an Associate Degree in Cosmetology in 2007. After graduation Alicia worked for Dorothy Hacker and later ran her own salon, Kolor Me Crazy. In 2020, Alicia would shut the doors to her salon and work with Ofetdal Construction Inc. and Sturgeon Electric. However even though working away from home she found a way to continue her passion for cosmetology by doing hair at the Wyoming State Women’s Prison. Alicia will be remembered for her loving heart and being brutally honest. She was her friend’s biggest cheerleader and never met a stranger she wouldn’t help. She often donated her time to Cut-A-Thon and other local fundraisers. As she gave in life, she also gave life by being an organ donor. She was always willing to fight for what she believed in and her never-give-up attitude is what inspired many. If you knew Alicia, you know this obituary is just a glimpse of the person she was.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the emergency responders, Colyer Funeral Home, and Donor Alliance for their care and compassion.
