THE ADOPTION OF THIS AMENDMENT WOULD SEPARATE RESIDENTIAL REAL PROPERTY INTO ITS OWN CLASS OF PROPERTY TAX ASSESSMENTS. THE AMENDMENT WOULD AUTHORIZE THE LEGISLATURE TO CREATE A SUBCLASS OF OWNER OCCUPIED PRIMARY RESIDENCES.
