TORRINGTON – Mass of Christian Burial for Yolanda Juarez, 56, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2023, at Saint Rose Catholic Church with Father Ray Moss officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery.

Yolanda passed away peacefully at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska on Feb. 13, 2023, surrounded by family and friends. A Vigil will be held Thursday at the church from 4-5:30 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 6 p.m. Arrangements are by the Colyer Funeral Home and condolences may be sent to www.colyerfuneralhome.com. Memorial donations can be given in Yolanda 's name to "Live on Nebraska " and Ronald McDonald House.

Yoli was born in Torrington on Jan. 27, 1967, to Jose M. and Cristina Anaya. Yoli found her life’s work at the El Paso Public Defender’s Office where she worked as an investigator. She was the eleventh of thirteen children.

On April 4, 1986, she married Martin Juarez Gonzalez in Torrington. Yoli was a strong, loving woman with a zest for life that always made her the life of the party. Her wit, wisdom, humor and love of others was always present. Her children remember her as the mother everyone would want to have.

Yoli enjoyed nature, especially bird watching in her free time. She was passionate about her work and never passed on an opportunity to help others.

She is survived by her loving husband Martin; children Daniel Summer, Misael and Sophia; two beautiful granddaughters Anahi and Penelope. Yoli was preceded in death by her parents Jose M. and Cristina and her four siblings Jesus, Jesus, Angel, and Sergio.

Yoli was deeply loved and will be missed by many.
