Wanda Irene (Frazey) Gorsuch

GILLETTE – Wanda Gorsuch, 87, died May 17, 2021, in Gillette.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 22nd, at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel in Torrington. The casket will be open for viewing from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday before the service. Burial followed in the Valley View Cemetery.
Wanda was born Dec. 27, 1933, in her aunt’s house in Mullen, Nebraska, the daughter of George and Virginia (Carr) Frazey. She attended early country school on the Phipps Ranch north of Whitman, Nebraska, then moved to Mullen to complete her education. 

In 1950, she married Raymond Gorsuch and they made their home on the Card Ranch north of Hyannis, Nebraska.

She later followed her husband on road construction until 1961 when the family settled in Torrington. While living in Torrington and raising her family, she worked numerous places and was active in various clubs and organizations, making many lifelong friends. She moved to Gillette in 2015 to be near her family and enriched her circle of friends there. She loved her family and was sure she had the best grandkids in the entire world. She enjoyed square dancing with Raymond in their younger years, playing cards and board games, stock car racing and watching her family participate in racing and sports events.
She is survived by her son Sam (Susan) Gorsuch of Gillette, and two daughters, Norma (Tim) Burch of Gillette and Joyce Gorsuch of Torrington; five grandchildren, Travis (Tammy) Gorsuch of Chanhassen MN, Toby (Amy) Gorsuch, Darrick (Raegin) DuVall, Darryl (Tabetha) DuVall, and DaNelle DuVall, all of Gillette; eleven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond; her parents and three brothers, Thomas, James and Wesley.
