TORRINGTON – Torrington Little League is in full swing with 244 kids registered for all four divisions.  This includes six in the Challenger Division, 91 in the tee-ball division, 79 in the Minors division and 68 in the Majors division.

Games will continue through the end of June with the Majors division concluding June 17-20 with the City Tournament.

In addition, the Torrington Little League is scheduled to host the Wyoming Little League State Tournament July 24-27.

The tournament consists of eight teams from across Wyoming, including four teams in the 9-and 10-year-old division and four teams in the 11-and 12-year-old division. The winner of the 11-and 12-year-old division will represent Wyoming at the regional tournament.

Torrington Little League relies on volunteers and will need additional help in order to make the state tournament a success. During the City Tournament, Torrington Little League board members will be available at the sports complex during games to answer any questions the public may have about volunteering for this event, including opportunities as game volunteers, grounds crew and concession workers.
