TORRINGTON – The Torrington Tiger junior Legion team went 3-1 last week, sweeping Douglas and splitting with Casper.
On Wednesday, the Tigers defeated Douglas, 14-2 in game one.
Torrington didn’t waste any time getting on the scoreboard in the bottom of the first.
Ayden Desmond, Bodie Moffat, Bryce Hager and Keyan Sargent scored in the first as the team batted around in lineup.
It was much the same in the second inning, as the Tigers pushed the lead to 8-1 with runs from Desmond, Moffat, Long and Brady Cook.
The Tigers went on to add two more in the second and four more in the fourth.
The visiting Cats scored runs in the second and third innings before the game was called due to a time limit after four innings.

In game two, the Tigers battled back from a deficit to complete the sweep of Douglas with a 12-8 win.
The next night, Torrington traveled to Casper, splitting a doubleheader.
