TORRINGTON – A total of 30 adult artists representing eight different communities and 24 teen artists from around the region made the 2018 Southeast Wyoming Art Association’s annual show a success.
Artists submitted more than 130 pieces for exhibition, judged by University of Wyoming art instructor and professional artist Tim Collins. Awards were presented in several classes.
“Negan,” a colored-pencil portrait by Taryn Platt, was named “Best of Show” by Collins and was selected for the “People’s Choice” award by show attendees. A scratch-art drawing of a wolf head by Tom Samson was selected for
“Judges Choice.”
