WHEATLAND – Terresa Humphries-Wadsworth from Cody will be walking from Cody to Cheyenne in September to raise awareness and support for local Suicide Prevention efforts. Terresa will begin her walk in Cody on Sept. 1 and will end in Cheyenne on Sept. 15. Humphries-Wadsworth is walking to raise awareness for suicide prevention across the state. It is about raising hope to those who are struggling and comforting those who grieve.
The VFW Posts and Auxiliaries of Wyoming are supporting Terresa’s “Walk Across Wyoming,” VFW Posts and Auxiliaries are rallying behind Terresa and will be hosting an event in some of the communities that she stops to rest in. Humphries-Wadsworth will be in Wheatland on Sept. 12. The local VFW will host a barbecue at Lewis Park and the public is invited to attend. Humphries-Wadsworth will be available to visit with.
