FORT LARAMIE – A Celebration of Life for Stacie Lynn Orr, 50, will be 11 a.m. at the north park in Fort Laramie on Thursday, July 9, 2020. There will be a private family burial in the Fort Laramie Cemetery.
Stacie died July 3, 2020, at Community Hospital. Arrangements are by the Colyer Funeral Home and condolences may be sent to www.colyerfuneralhome.com.
Stacie was born Oct. 10, 1969, in Torrington, the daughter of James and Gale (Lewis) Hill. She grew up in Fort Laramie and attended school in Lingle, graduating Lingle High School in 1988. She then attended Nebraska Western Community College where she received her Associate Degree in Nursing.
She married John Orr on May 6, 1989, in Fort Laramie. She worked up and down the North Platte Valley in nursing facilities. She worked until October 2019 when ill health forced her to quit.
Stacie enjoyed crafting and crocheting, making things for all her family and friends. In the last few years she enjoyed painting.
Stacie is survived her husband John Orr of Guernsey; daughters Tia Marie (Jordan) Farrell of Torrington, Jessica Flick of Cheyenne and Jennifer Orr of Torrington; her mother Gale Hill of Fort Laramie; brothers Vincent Hill of Fort Laramie and Justin Hill of Torrington; granddaughters Adalynn Urdiales and Blakely Farrell.
She was preceded in death by her father James Hill; a son Cody James Orr; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
