LUSK – The Southeast High School wrestling team went 0-3 at the Niobrara County Quad on Tuesday evening in Lusk.
The Cyclones were forced to leave three grapplers at home due to illness.
Southeast fell to Niobrara County, 39-36, Glenrock, 36-30, and Burns-Pine Bluffs, 45-30.
No individual results were available from the duals against the NCHS Tigers and the Glenrock Herders, but against Burns-Pine Bluffs, the Cyclones got fall victories over Grant Logsdon (106 pounds), Brock Blevins (113) and Kaden Brothwell (120). Emmett Mackey (126) and Ryan Clapper (138) also picked up forfeit wins for Southeast.
Southeast heads to the Hanna-Elk Mountain Tournament, which begins on Friday and wraps up Saturday.
