Taking home gold for the girls this week was freshman Kaycee Kosmicki (800), senior Shelby Ekwall (Shot Put), junior Tylar Stoddard (Triple Jump) and sophomore Angie Logsdon (Pole vault). The girls 4x400-meter relay team also took home the top spot and that included junior Sasha Haines, freshman Macy Tremain, along with Stoddard and Logsdon.

The rest of the team also took home many top spots, quite a few of the athletes received top five places like sophomore Taylor Hanson who took home second in the 100-meter hurdles and fifth in the 300-meter hurdles. Tremain scored fifth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1 minute, 5.44 seconds. Stoddard took home fifth in the 200-meter along with fourth in the long jump. Logsdon also had a good day as she placed third in the triple jump.

For the throwers, junior Harper Boche took home second in the shot put and freshman Hadley Leithead was fourth in discus. Kosmicki placed fifth in long jump. The girls 4x800-meter relay took third place to round out the weekend for the Lady Cyclones

For the boy’s side, there were a few more boys who placed this week and got their teams some points.

Winning the sprints was senior Wyatt Campbell with a 100m time of 11.33 seconds and a 200m time of 24.51 seconds. Also taking home a top spot was senior Austin Short as he finished with a time of 53.14 seconds in the 400m. Short was fifth in the 100m. Taking home fifth in the high jump was senior Dawson Mullock. With the weather allowing the Cyclone track team will travel to Cheyenne this week to attend the Okie Blanchard Invite at Cheyenne East High School. The girls will look to make a statement as many 3A and 4A teams will be attending and the boys will look to take home some top spots.
