GRANT, Neb. – Sharron Kay Vak (Dillman) passed away at her home in Grant on Saturday, July 16, 2022.

Sharron was born Aug. 15, 1960, in Thermopolis, Wyoming to Willie and Luane (Korell) Dillman. She spent her early childhood in Idaho and Minnesota before moving to Torrington, Wyoming in 1971. Here, she graduated from THS in 1978 and married Rob McIntosh on Aug. 17, 1976. Their son, Andy, was born on May 4, 1982. Later, on April 22, 2001, she married James Vak with whom she lived with in Grant.

Sharron worked at the Torrington Telegram, Laramie Job Service and Perkins County Hospital, but was first and foremost a wife, a mom and a gramma. For the past several years, she spent her days at her beautiful home gardening, tending flowers, reading, listening to music, crafting, cooking and baking. She will be forever and deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband James Vak of Grant; son Andy (Angela) McIntosh of Longmont, Colorado; stepsons Jesse (Ashley) Vak of North Platte, Hunter (Shaina) Vak of Torrington, Wyoming, and Kaleb (Skyler) Vak of Ogallala; grandchildren Ethan, Scarlett, Ryder, Halen, Piper and Beau; father Willie Dillman and brothers Glenn (Jan) Dillman, Alvin (Debra) Dillman of Sheridan Wyoming; sisters Lori (Wade) Nicol of Arapaho, Wyoming and Debbie (Lenny) Scherf of Lander, Wyoming; and countless nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sharron is proceeded in death by her Mother, Luane, and both sets of maternal and paternal grandparents.
