HEMINGFORD, Neb. – The Torrington swim team traveled to Hemingford for the team’s next to last meet of the summer and brought back 22-first place finishes and set four meet records.

Abby Dykes set two meet records in the 25-yard fly and 25-yard back. Tyne Stokes also set a meet record in the 200-yard free, while Charlie Wilson set the other meet record in the 100-yard IM.

Individually, Trinity Martin and Andy Dykes paced the Sharks with three wins each.

“It was the most we have in the two years I’ve been on the coaching staff,” coach Ethan Creager said. “I’m excited to see what we can do in the medal meet in our own pool.”

Torrington will host the final meet of the season with medals on the line on Saturday, July 14. Action begins at 9 a.m. at the Dale Jones Municipal Pool.
