AUSTIN, Texas – Robert “Bob” Erschabek of Austin, Texas, formerly of Guernsey, was born in Torrington June 2, 1948. He passed away peacefully on April 6, 2022. At his request, cremation has taken place and a private family burial will take place at a later date.
Bob is survived by his wife Jennifer, son Jason (Sarah), grandchildren Kailey, Triston, Avaley, stepchildren Nick, Michele and Chris Simmank, brothers Dennis and Jerry (Myrna), nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Joseph “Joe” Pontlan and Elizabeth “Betty” Avaley and first wife Jan DeWiess.
