BURNS – Lingle-Fort Laramie senior Kaelyn Riley led the Lady Doggers with three wins at the Burns Invite on Monday afternoon.
Riley topped the field in the 100-meter dash (13.33 seconds), 200-meter dash (27.04) and triple jump (33 feet, 10.75 inches).

BURNS – Lingle-Fort Laramie senior Kaelyn Riley led the Lady Doggers with three wins at the Burns Invite on Monday afternoon.
Riley topped the field in the 100-meter dash (13.33 seconds), 200-meter dash (27.04) and triple jump (33 feet, 10.75 inches).
Riley also finished fourth in long jump with a distance of 14-7.25.
Juniors Kalli Nichol and Cora Frederick also medaled for the Lady Doggers.
Frederick placed fourth in the 1,600-meter run in 6 minutes, 39.68 seconds, while Nichol had a pair of eighth-place finishes. The height of 4 feet, 4 inches was good for eighth in high jump, while a leap of 13-7.5 was good enough for eight in the long jump.
In the boys’ division, junior Alex Pugsley paced the Doggers with a third-place finish in long jump with a distance of 18-3.
Sophomore Cooper Hill medaled four times for L-FL. Hill crossed the finish line third in the 200-meter dash in 25.07 seconds while placing in the 100-meter dash and in the triple jump. He also placed seventh in long jump.
The 4x800-meter relay team of Dustin Swartwood, Quirt Lee, Jaden Houk and Noah Hatch finished fourth in 11:40.25, while Houk also placed fifth in pole vault with a height of 7-3.
Sophomore Cordell Forkner ended the day eighth in shot put with a toss of 40-8.5.
No team standings were made available.
L-FL will be back in action on Thursday in Scottsbluff, Neb. Action gets underway at 12:30 p.m.
