Students from 28th Avenue Dance Studio in Torrington brought home several awards from the Releve’ Dance Competition, held April 14, in Aurora, Colo. Pictured above are Calista Dugger and Jazmine Rodriguez. Dugger earned white diamond, the top award, for Issues and was named first overall/Queen, for Blessings. Rodriguez received the blue diamond, signifying third place, for Let It Go and placed third overall and was named second attendant for her Shut Up and Dance. Additional awards received included: Avey Jespersen – Second overall, first attendant. Ava Mattis – Glorious, white diamond), Wildside first overall; Queen Ballet/Lyrical – high point overall; Cheer – high point first place overall; Musical Theatre – high point first place overall; Hip Hop V – white diamond. Elizabeth Keene and Hayden Hauser – white diamond.
