NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Torrington shall hold a public hearing pursuant to W.S. 15-1-405. Included herein is a location map which shows the boundaries of the area sought to be annexed together with a summary of annexation report pursuant to W.S. 15-1-402 (c). The hearing shall be held at 7:15p.m. on the 19th day of July, 2022 at Torrington Council Chambers, 436 East 22nd Avenue in Torrington to determine if the area proposed to be annexed complies with W.S. 15-1-402.
SUMMARY OF ANNEXATION REPORT PURSUANT TO W.S. 15-1-405 (b)
83.7% of the proposed area to be annexed is contiguous with the corporate
limits of the City of Torrington. All basic services are available to the landowners
and no infrastructure costs are required by the landowners or the City. Projected annual fee for services is $353.49 per month and estimated tax increase is $278.78 per year. A full report and map is available for review at Torrington City Hall.
