PUBLIC NOTICE

BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS of
GOSHEN COUNTY, WYOMING
    Tuesday April 20, 2021
The Board of County Commissioners of Goshen County, Wyoming met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 am at the Goshen County Courthouse in the Commissioners Chambers with the following members present Chairman John Ellis, Vice Chairman Cody Cox via Zoom, Justin Burkart Commissioner and Cindy Kenyon, County Clerk and Clerk of the Board. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Burkart moved to approve the agenda and minutes of the last meeting, seconded and passed.
The Sheriff’s Commissary report was accepted from Sheriff Fleenor. Commissioner Burkart moved to accept the Sheriff’s report, seconded and passed.
Val Hankins Road Superintendent presented the High Risk Rural roads HRRR grant Program agreement between WYDOT and Goshen County for guardrail installation in the amount of $100,000 with a 10% match. Commissioner Cox moved to approve the agreement as presented, seconded and passed.
The County Treasurer Leticia Dominguez presented her monthly report. Commissioner Burkart moved to accept the Treasurer’s report, seconded and passed.
The County Clerk’s report was accepted from County Clerk Cindy Kenyon. The County Clerk presented the updated warrant report. Commissioner Burkart moved to approve the updated warrant report, seconded and passed.

Lingle Mayor George Siglin updated the Commission on the Dissolution of the Town of Lingle/Rural Fire Board/Joint Powers Board effective March 1, 2021. Mayor Siglin informed the Commission the Department of Audit has requested a Resolution from the Commission. Commissioner Burkart suggested the Town of Lingle Attorney and the County Attorney communicate about the issue.
Attorney Gay Woodhouse participated via Zoom. Ms. Woodhouse proposed a resolution denying blanket approval of gambling machines. Chairman Ellis indicated Wyoming Statute already demands individual site approval amd a resolution is not needed.
The duly published budget amendment was held. The following amendments were approved:

No public comment was offered.
The Commission adjourned at 10:25 am. The next regular meeting will be Tuesday May 4, 2021.
