BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS of
GOSHEN COUNTY, WYOMING
The Board of County Commissioners of Goshen County, Wyoming met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 am at the Goshen County Courthouse in the Commissioners Chambers with the following members present Chairman John Ellis, Vice Chairman Cody Cox, Justin Burkart Commissioner and Cindy Kenyon, County Clerk and Clerk of the Board. This meeting is held via Zoom. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Cox moved to approve the revised agenda and minutes of the last meeting, seconded and passed.
Chairman Ellis welcomed Commissioner Burkart to the team. Also, the Chairman wished the public a happy new year. Vice Chairman Cox welcomed Commissioner Burkart and is looking forward to working together for the good of the residents.
The Road and Bridge report was accepted from Bob Taylor County Surveyor and Gary Childs County Planner. The Final Plat for the Bear Creek Ranch Subdivision was presented by Gary Childs and recommended a do pass by the Planning Commission. Commissioner Cox moved to approve the Final Plat of the Bear Creek Ranch Subdivision, seconded and passed. Commissioner Burkart moved to accept the Road and Bridge report, second and passed.
Clerk of District Court Brandi Correa presented her monthly earnings report in the amount of $3018.65. Commissioner Cox moved to accept the Clerk of Court report, seconded and passed.
The County Clerk report was accepted from County Clerk Cindy Kenyon. Commissioner Cox moved to approve the warrants for payment, seconded and passed. The earnings report for December totaled $16233.00. Comm Cox moved to approve the earnings report, seconded and passed. The County Clerk also presented the November Sheriff’s earnings report in the amount of $975.00. Commissioner cox moved to accept the Sheriff’s November earnings report as submitted, seconded and passed. Commissioner Cox moved to approve the employee bonds as presented, seconded and passed. Commissioner Cox moved to accept the Clerk’s report, seconded and passed. Fire Warden Bill Law and Emergency Manager Shelly Kirchhefer presented their monthly reports via email. Commissioner Burkart moved to accept the reports, seconded and passed
Chairman Ellis opened a public comment period. Resident Doug Mercer commented the Commissioners are hard to hear on Zoom.
The Commission adjourned at 9:24 am. The next regular meeting will be Tuesday January 19, 2021.
