TOWN OF LINGLE    )
The Regular Meeting of the Lingle Town Council convened at 5:00 P.M. October 7, 2020 with Mayor Siglin leading the Pledge of Allegiance. Upon roll call, the following were present, constituting a quorum: Mayor: George Siglin Council Members: Brandie Cook Steve Edwardson Joe Welte A.J. Lambert There was also present: Fire Chief: Kasey Bangerter Town Attorney: Anna Barnes Clerk: Richard Reyes Town Supervisor: Larry Haeffelin Absent: Police Chief: Endra Andrews.     Mayor Siglin welcomed all to the meeting and thanked them for being present. Mayor Siglin called for approval of the agenda as presented.  CM Cook moved to approve the agenda. CM Welte voiced the second and the motion carried unanimously.  
Mayor Siglin called for approval of the minutes of the September 23, 2020 regular council meeting. CM Welte moved to approve the minutes as presented. CM Cook voiced the second and the motion carried unanimously BILLS FOR SEPTEMBER 2020: CM Edwardson moved to approve the Town bills in the amount of $100,698.88. CM Lambert voiced the second and the motion carried unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENT: Sandy Hoehn, representing the Goshen County Tourism Joint Powers Board, presented information favoring the continuation of the Lodging Tax which is to be voted on November 3, 2020. She asked for support of the initiative from the Lingle Town Council. LVFD: FC BANGERTER: Reported 2 fires and 12 ambulance calls. LEGAL ITEMS: TA BARNES: Reported that she and TS Haeffelin have completed a Pole Attachment Application for Visionary. ADMINISTRATIVE ITEMS: C REYES: Reported Public Health flu shot clinic for senior citizens took place in the Community Center September 29th; Ordinances #348 and #349 are now in effect; requested digital distribution of the Fall Newsletter in an effort to save the Town money but by Council consensus was not approved; C Reyes reminded all attendees to vote on November 3rd in the Community Center. MAINTENANCE ITEMS: TS HAEFFELIN: Reported that ATS Ochsner attended training in Lusk, WY; the Town of Lingle passed an EPA Sanitary Survey and that basic maintenance continues. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Use of the Wyoming Community Gas funds was discussed and by consensus Council decided to use the funds to install exterior security cameras for the Lingle Community Center. COUNCIL ITEMS: Mayor Siglin urged all attendees to vote “yes” on the continuation of the Sales & Use Tax, continuation of the Lodging Tax and Amendment “A” on November 3, 2020 at the voting polls.
With no further action to be taken Mayor Siglin adjourned the meeting at 5:42 P.M.
