Notice is hereby given that Goshen County will receive sealed bids at the Goshen County Courthouse for the ”2020 Chip Seal Rehabilitation” project until 2:00 p.m. Local Time on Thursday, July 30, 2020. The work is described in the plans and specifications and on the bid schedule, and consists of the following major quantities (approximately):
Crack Sealing 34,300 LB
Hot Poured Crack Surfacing (Mastic) 184,800 LB
Seal Coat (Single Chip Seal) 63,400 SY
Seal Coat (Triple Chip Seal) 38,800 SY
Bid forms, specifications, and plans may be obtained either in digital or hard copy format from BenchMark of Torrington, P.C., 119 East 19th Avenue, Torrington, Wyoming, 82240, (307) 532-3811 or by emailing rachelle@benchmark-torr.com upon payment of $40.00 per set for hard copy or $25.00 per set for digital copy, non-refundable. Bid documents may be inspected at the above listed office from 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
There will not be a pre-bid conference for this project. Bidders may contact the Engineer to schedule a site visit or to ask any questions regarding this project. In order to bid this project, the Bidder’s name must appear on the list of plan holders held by BenchMark of Torrington, P.C.
Bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided in accordance with the contract documents. “...the contract shall be let to the responsible certified resident making the lowest bid if the certified resident’s bid is not more than five percent (5%) higher than that of the lowest responsible nonresident bidder.” (WY Statute 16-6-102) “Preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery, and provisions produced, manufactured, or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state.” (WY Statute 16-6-106). The sealed bids must be marked on the outside of the envelope “2020 Chip Seal Rehabilitation.” THE BIDS WILL BE OPENED AT 2:00 p.m. Local Time on Thursday, July 30, 2020.
