ACTIVITIES BUILDING GENERATOR
REPLACMENT FOR
EASTERN WYOMING COLLEGE

Sealed proposals with the name of the Bidder and Title of the Work will be received for and on behalf of Eastern Wyoming College (EWC) at the College Business Offices (Tebbett Classroom Building, Room 236), 3200 West ‘C’ Street, Torrington WY 82240 until 2:00 pm, April 25th, 2019. Bids will be publically opened and read aloud immediately thereafter in the Dolores Kaufman Board Room (Tebbett Classroom Building, Room 274).  No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the date of the bid opening.

Proposals shall be prepared in accordance with plans and specifications which may be obtained digitally from Owner, Cator, Ruma & Associates (CRA), or may be examined on Wyoming’s Public Purchase (www.publicpurchase.com). Digital packages may be acquired via e-mail requests to info@catorruma.com.
         
Interested bidders may arrange a pre-bid conference and site observation visit by contacting Keith Jarvis, Director of Physical Plant, at 307-532-8255.  Pre-bid is NOT mandatory.

Preference shall be given to Wyoming contractors, subcontractors, laborers, and materials as required by all current Wyoming Preference Acts and State Statutes. The provisions of these statutes are hereby called to the attention of the bidders. Contractors bidding as Wyoming residents must submit their residency certificate with their bids.  
      
A Bid Bond, certified check, or a cashier’s check payable to the Owner in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid, shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the contract and bond within ten days of award of the contract.

A Performance and Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful Bidder in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the contract amount.  Such Performance and Payment Bond shall be accompanied by a certified copy of Power of Attorney and shall be signed or countersigned by a Wyoming resident agent of the bonding company.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities in any bid, and to award the bid as will best serve the Owner’s interests.
