BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS of
GOSHEN COUNTY, WYOMING
December 18, 2018
The Board of County Commissioners of Goshen County, Wyoming met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 am at the Goshen County Courthouse with the following members present, Chairman Carl Rupp, Vice Chairman Wally Wolski and Commissioner John Ellis and Cindy Kenyon, County Clerk and Clerk of the Board.
The Sheriff’s Department report was accepted from Lt. Wes Deen. The Sheriff’s earnings report for November 2018 was accepted in the amount of $1510.00.
Commissioner Wolski moved to approve the agenda, minutes of the last meeting and updated warrant report, seconded and passed.
Emergency Manager Shelly Kirchefer presented the contract between Goshen County and Homeland Security for Emergency Management Preparedness in the amount of $34500.00 which has been approved by Dana Lent, Deputy County Attorney. Commissioner Ellis moved to approve the contract as presented, seconded and passed.
County Assessor Debbi Surratt presented a tax reduction order for $369.65. Commissioner Wolski moved to approve the reduction order as presented, seconded and passed. The Commissioner also agreed the Assessor could fill a vacancy in her office.
The Fair Report was accepted from Stephanie Lofink.
The Treasurer’s Report was accepted from County Treasurer Maxine Mitchell and County Treasurer Elect Leticia Dominguez.
The Commission adjourned at 10:00 am. The Commission then returned at 11:30 for a reception to honor the outgoing elected officials. County Treasurer Maxine Mitchell, County Attorney Ken Brown, Sheriff Jeremy Wardell and Commissioner Carl Rupp were presented plaques and recognized for their outstanding service to Goshen County residents. The next meeting will be held Wed. January 2, 2019. (approved for publication)
