April 1

12:10 a.m. – Assist the public, East Valley Road, Torrington – Caller stated they went and bought their kids snacks as well as alcohol for her 27-year-old son; An unidentified woman began yelling at them, accusing them of buying alcohol for a minor; Caller requested to speak to an officer to explain what happened.

6:47 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East G Street, Torrington – Report that it appeared someone threw something through a window.

10:47 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West B Street, Torrington – Caller reportedly found a boy sleeping under their trampoline; Boy is reportedly a friend of the caller’s child and the boy’s mother was in Oregon; Caller took the boy to school.

5:57 p.m. – Juvenile problem, West 23rd Avenue, Torrington – Officer initiated, out with two juveniles, possible vaping.

April 2

2:02 p.m. – Animal call, Park Avenue, Torrington – Occupant on Park Avenue has two calves in their back yard.

April 3

12:22 a.m. – Disturbance, East B Street, Torrington – Noise complaint; caller said someone is revving their vehicle early in the morning and late in the evening.

7:43 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Main Street, Torrington – Caller reported a man came to the door, saying he’d lost his shoes and phone; Caller said they gave him a ride, said he was trying to get to Hawk Springs; Caller reportedly dropped him off at the Long Branch.

11:46 a.m. – Disturbance, East 19th Avenue, Torrington – Caller requested their mother-in-law be removed from the residence.

4:03 p.m. – Traffic violations, West 25th Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported a vehicle passed a stopped school bus with the stop arm/red lights activated near East 19th Avenue and East B Street; Driver is at the bus barn and has vehicle information.

6:35 p.m. – Assist the public, East B Street, Torrington – Caller reported a female, driving a silver or light grey min van, dumping garbage in other people’s dumpsters; Caller requested someone speak to the driver.

6:48 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East H Street, Torrington – Caller having issues with people knocking on the door and ringing the doorbell in the middle of the night; Caller said also having issues with cats getting into her flower box.

8:03 p.m. – Assist the public, West 15th Avenue, Torrington – Officer initiated activity; One female walking in the rain.

April 4

8 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, East Valley Road, Torrington – Semi-truck hit canopy by the pumps; Citation issued.

10:21 a.m. – Welfare check, West 15th Avenue, Torrington – Caller concerned about a man living in the RV park, hadn’t seen him in a few days; Officer found no one home and fresh tire tracks of vehicle leaving; Reported nothing seemed out of place.

3:20 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, location not reported – Caller said she learned about “free money” and filled out a form; Caller said she gave her name, date of birth and her mother’s maiden name and now they won’t answer the security question, which they should know, so she things it’s a scam.

4:54 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East 22nd Avenue, Torrington – Caller advised he received a disturbing call, believed it to be a scam; Individual said they worked for the U.S. Government, requested social security number and financial information; Individual claimed there were charges pending in Texas because someone was using his social security number.

6:38 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Main Street, Torrington – Caller requested an officer to come pick up a bag of “stuff” they found on the ground; Reportedly recovered a small amount of marijuana.

April 5

12:23 a.m. – 911 Hang-up, East F Street, Torrington – Officers found nothing untoward in the area and all residences on the street appeared quiet.

9:59 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Main Street, Torrington – Caller requesting to speak to an officer referencing a possible assault which occurred the previous evening.

12:45 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East27th Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported two males, rolling joints in a blue car; Contacted by officer, men were rolling cigarettes.

12:56 p.m. – Assist the public, West C Street, Torrington – Caller reported issues with another, unidentified individual, was wanting to know what he could do; Caller said he sees the other individual every few days and is ignoring him the best he can.

2:55 p.m. – Assist the public, Main Street, Torrington – Caller reported an unidentified individual, drinking and causing problems; Caller said they believed the individual was on probation.

April 6

12:32 a.m. – Disturbance, Main Street, Torrington – Caller reported a fight in front of the bar; Did not know who was fighting.

4:08 p.m. – Assist the public, location not listed – Caller reported a suspected scam; Reportedly entered into a text conversation with individual, claiming to be female older than 18 who he met via the internet; Female sent him a naked photo and the caller said he’s now receiving phone calls from a Cheyenne government phone number; He believes it’s a scam to extort money from him, but wanted to “cover his bases” in case actual agency calling; Caller was advised any number can be spoofed and any child pornography investigation would be conducted in person, not by telephone.

8:47 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, location not listed – Caller said a Hispanic or Indian male pulled up in a white Dodge and informed him he “better keep their mouth shut or would kill their family;” Caller requested a call back to speak to an officer.

April 7

2:19 a.m. – Assist the public, Torrington Police Dept. – Caller requested to speak to an officer referencing an alleged threatening message from their ex.

3:14 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East Valley Road, Torrington – Someone ran over a do not enter sign.

1:17 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East 17th Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported individual intoxicated, possible under the influence of something else, refusing to leave.

6:47 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West C Street, Torrington – Caller said he was in Colorado over the weekend; When he returned, noticed someone had tried to break into his truck; Caller believed it occurred in Colorado, wanting to know what he could do.

7:35 p.m. – Disturbance, Main Street, Torrington – Report of two individuals, a male and a female, fighting in the alley; Officer talked to pair, reported all okay.
