March 15

1:12 a.m. – Domestic, location redacted – Male subject causing violence.

6:30 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, U.S. Hwy. 16, Torrington – Caller to 9-1-1 reporting vehicle vs. deer in Henry; no injuries and no road blockage reported.

12:19 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Road 54, Torrington – Caller requested to speak with an officer; questions regarding trash someone littered.

12:57 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, U.S. Hwy. 85, Torrington – Caller reported he thought someone had shot out the window of his semi.

12:58 p.m. – Animal call, West 11th Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported a dog wouldn’t let him into his car; Bulldog, was walking around the neighborhood.

2:01 p.m. – Animal call, High Street, Torrington – Caller reported about a dozen cats at a neighboring residence; caller said the neighbor isn’t there anymore, they’d heard she moved to California.

5:12 p.m. – Vandalism, West B Street, Torrington – Report of a man driving a large green Dodge truck ran over a construction sign.

March 16

2:09 a.m. – Assist the public, East B Street, Torrington – Report gutters not draining, with water over the sidewalk.

5:56 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West C Street, Torrington – Report a student entered another student’s room nude and crawled into the other student’s bed.

12:30 p.m. – Vandalism, East 22nd Avenue, Torrington – Someone broke the mirror off caller’s car.

4:53 p.m. – Assist the public, Main Street and Valley Road, Torrington – Caller was at the intersection and reported some cars were driving through the lights without stopping; Concerned there was going to be an accident.

March 17

12:30 a.m. – Assist the public, Main Street, Torrington – Caller reported losing a car off a tow dolly; requesting help with a jump-start to get it back on the dolly.

3:07 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West Valley Road, Torrington – Caller reported a male on the north side of the highway, waving his arms.

12:12 p.m. – Traffic violations, West B Street, Torrington – Caller reported a noisy blue pickup racing around the area; While on telephone, caller reported he heard the truck shut off; no further description.

1:09 a.m. – Harassment, East A Street, Torrington – Caller requested an officer to contact an unidentified male; reportedly the man calls repeatedly and either hangs up or starts talking “nonsense.”

7:07 p.m. – Welfare check, East Valley Road, Torrington – Caller reported a girl wearing all black clothing was walking west toward the car lot from the truck stop; requested a welfare check.

7:09 p.m. – Suspicious person, U.S. Hwy. 26-85, Torrington – Report of an unknown subject dressed in dark clothing either sleeping or passed out by the bathrooms at Westfield Campground.

March 18

10:06 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West A Street, Torrington – Caller requested a call back referencing questions about an individual; said the person was on the way to their house at that time.

1:33 p.m. – Harassment, East 22nd Avenue, Torrington – Caller requested to speak to an officer about a potentially-threatening voice mail.

4:22 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East H Street, Torrington – Report of a man in a grey minivan going through trash in the alley behind the residence.

6:28 p.m. – Assist the public, East 22nd Avenue, Torrington – Caller requesting to speak to an officer referencing threats to their son.

March 19

7:56 a.m. – Traffic violations, Main Street, Torrington – Caller advised a radio vehicle was sitting sideways in traffic, causing traffic problems; Gone on arrival.

10:41 a.m. – Harassment, East A Street, Torrington – Report of harassing phone calls.

11:10 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West C Street, Torrington – Caller reported an unidentified subject was threatening to beat her up.

12:45 p.m. – Found property, West 20th Avenue, Torrington – Requesting an officer to pick up a wallet someone left.

2:29 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Hwy. 154, Yoder – Caller requested to speak to an officer regarding an apparent scam phone call from the IRS.

March 20

10:26 a.m. – Animal call, West B Street, Torrington – Caller advised neighbors to the south have three dogs, one kept on a chain and other two allowed to run loose; Complained the dogs always in the caller’s yard.

3:10 p.m. – Animal call, West C Street, Torrington – Caller requested to speak to someone referencing a blue truck parked next to the railroad tracks with a dog locked inside.

3:41 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Road 66, Torrington – Caller reported trash placed in a dumpster includes mail with unspecified information in it; Caller said her husband is home and can get the information.

4:37 p.m. – Lost property, East 22nd Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported a lost Jeep key with a Jeep keychain and a Harry Potter keychain.

7:31 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Road 47, Torrington – Caller requested to speak to someone referencing their brother allegedly taking things from their home.

11:12 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Road 12, Yoder – Caller reported his ex was threatening to kill him via text messaging; ex reportedly said she’d “be on her way in the morning.”

March 21

9:05 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Road 37, Hawk Springs – Caller reported someone apparently tried to break into their home the previous evening; Damage evident to a window.

12:37 p.m. – Assist the public, Road 68 F, Torrington – Caller expressed concerns over dirt work done by a county road crew, particularly in front of their mailbox.

2:02 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West C Street, Torrington – Report of students sleeping near the bleachers.

3:18 p.m. – Larceny, East K Street, Torrington – Caller requested to speak to an officer referencing alleged theft of services.

4 p.m. – Assist the public, East 3rd Avenue, Torrington – Caller requested to speak to someone referencing unwanted telephone calls.
