Jan. 4
5:19 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East 20th Avenue and East P Street, Torrington – Report that man who normally walks his dogs in the area was not there, but his dogs were walking themselves.
7:17 a.m. – Harassment, East G Street, Torrington – Caller reported their former boyfriend left the residence armed with an unknown weapon; Caller said the subject had made threats in the past.
7:57 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Campbell Drive, Torrington – Caller reported an unknown female subject drove over a fire hydrant in a truck.
10:32 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East A Street, Torrington – Caller reported a prepaid debit card was hacked.
11:05 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, report to Torrington Police Dept., Torrington – Caller said they keep getting text messages from an unidentified subject in Colorado; Caller said they’d asked the subject to stop, but subject cursed at them and refused.
11:54 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East D Street, Torrington – Caller reported a package stolen from the porch at the residence on Dec. 12; Caller said they reported the alleged theft to the Post Office and was told records showed it had been delivered and left on the porch.

Jan. 5
12:01 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Alta Vista Road, Torrington – Caller reported a check had been altered and cashed.
3:46 p.m. – Assist other agency, Meridan rest area, U.S. Hwy 85 – Contact by subject who said they’d seen baby clothes scattered in the parking lot at the rest area.

Jan. 6

8:24 a.m. – Civil problem, to TPD, Torrington – Caller had questions about evicting a tenant.
11:30 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East F Street, Torrington – Caller reported an unidentified subject left and took the caller’s belongings.
4:36 p.m. – Traffic violations, State Hwy. 313 and U.S. Hwy. 85, Hawk Springs – Caller reported a four-door Jeep Wrangler-type vehicle blinding passing motorists with an LED light bar; Vehicle reported northbound from Hwy. 313.
5:29 p.m. – Warrant, to TPD, Torrington – Caller reported an unidentified male who’s alleged girlfriend reportedly works in Torrington; Recognized subject from Wyoming Most Wanted social media page; Believes man is in Torrington and has outstanding federal
warrant.

Jan. 7
1:30 a.m. – Prowler, East P Street, Torrington – Caller reported someone possibly prowling around their apartment.
2 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East 17th Street, Torrington – Caller reported second cousins living together.
6:06 p.m. – Assist the public, U.S. Hwy. 26-85, Torrington – Caller requested to speak with a deputy regarding obtaining possession of his truck; Caller said wasn’t sure of his address because he was living with his mother.

Jan. 8
9:02 a.m. – Disturbance, West 25th Avenue, Torrington – Fight; caller said fight was not in progress and they weren’t sure of the location.
9:20 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Clarke Street, Hawk Springs – Caller reported call from IRS stating attempt made to deliver certified letter but could not deliver; Caller was given information on an alleged IRS scam site.
3:22 p.m. – Assist the public, Buttermilk Road, Torrington – Caller requested to speak to a deputy referencing a pickup loaned to unidentified individuals.
7:33 p.m. – Disturbance, Hwy. 26-85, Torrington – Caller reported receiving a text message, saying her boyfriend was at her trailer causing a disturbance and hitting things; Caller requested a welfare check.

Jan. 9
9 a.m. – Harassment, West C Street, Torrington – Caller reported numerous messages and phone calls from an unidentified subject; Wanted to know what could be done because wants calls and messages to stop.
9 a.m. – Assist the public, Road 57, Torrington – Caller had spoken with officers in November regarding their phone number being used to harass an individual was informed their number being used as part of a scam; Caller advised they believe it is happening again, reported receiving a call from the same number that called in November, said again receiving harassing phone calls.
12:19 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle, Hwy. 26-85, Torrington – Caller reported a male in a white, double-cab pickup with a camper shell parked on the property; Caller said the area is marked “private property” and the individual has been told previously not to park there.

Jan. 10
11:35 a.m. – Traffic violations, Main Street, Yoder – Caller request to speak with a deputy referencing students “racing down Main Street” earlier in the day.
3:26 p.m. – Animal call, East 25th Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported her dog ingested something in the park on Dec. 26; reported the dog was having seizures and has ulcers in its mouth and throat; Caller believed the dog may have been poisoned.
5 p.m. – Assist the public, Main Street, Torrington – Caller reported his mother was receiving calls from an unidentified subject requesting money to help with receipt of a significantly larger amount; The unidentified subject then claimed they were at the Torrington Police Department; Caller was advised there was nobody at the TPD and it was a scam call.
