Feb. 2 – Feb. 8

Feb. 2 

8:37 a.m. – Scam call on East B Street. RP advising that she would like to speak with an officer about a possible scam call. RP advising that a young man with a heavy accent sounded Indian told the RP that he was an officer with the DOJ told her his name and badge number and told RP that her personal info including her social security was being used in North Carolina for drug trafficking. RP advising that he gave an address of a previous employer. 

1:47 p.m. – Assault on East 3rd Avenue. RP advising that her husband is assaulting her and throwing things at her. 

1:53 p.m. – Civil problem on Albany Avenue. RP advising that he was staying with female and this if the fourth time she has kicked out. RP advising that his snow jacket is at the house along with other personal items is there and she won’t give it to him. 

 

Feb. 3 

1:01 p.m. – Structure fire on West 15th Avenue. RP was cooking and the oven caught on fire. RP advised he is getting out of the house now and does not know if it has spread. 

2:42 – Suspicious circumstances on Main Street. RP advising that there is a child that keeps prank calling them from the phone number and they are not able to get other phone calls due to this. 

4:33 p.m. – Water department call out on East 24th Avenue. RP advising that there is water all in the street and the RP is unsure where the water is coming from and would like to know if someone has a leak or not. 

8:29 p.m. – Welfare check on West 23rd Avenue. RP has not heard from son in a couple of days. He was drinking and has a history of suicide attempts. RP would like someone to go and check to make sure he is okay. 

Feb. 4 

11:01 a.m. – Trespass on East G Street. RP wants male trespassed from her residence. 

12:23 p.m. – Traffic stop on Main Street. RP was backing up into a stop and subject cut RP off and pulled in, so RP had no room to get out of vehicle. RP said he was approximately six feet tall and black cowboy hat. 

8:49 p.m. – Suspicious person on East C Street. RP states at 1:30 p.m. today there was a guy wearing a florescent vest with a clipboard knocking on her door from a doorbell cam. Vest says “Dabello Company.” 

Feb. 5 

7:41 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances on Monoco Road. Southwest of the RP’s house in corn field they are shooting and hitting RP’s house. 

9:38 a.m. – Animal call on Main Street. To the northwest corner from the RP’s house dogs were running loose and one dog was hit. Driver put dog in that yard and left. Dog is gray small and fluffy. Dog limped into backyard. 

1:47 p.m. – Animal call on East F Street. RP delivered a pizza. Horse in bad shape. RP gave a handful of hay to the animal and the water was frozen over. RP said female came charging down the hill and female shoved him and pushed him. 

2:11 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances on Road 41/Highway 26. RP said guys hunting at river bridge throwing geese over the bridge.

2:54 p.m. – Civil problem on East F Street. RP said two motorhomes and a trailer parked on lot. Her dad gave permission, but he passed away and now RP wants them to move it. 

Feb. 6 

9:43 a.m. – Vandalism on Main Street. Mustang and Chevy vehicles both egged. RP said this is the second time. 

10:06 a.m. – Assault on Main Street. Near closing time RP advised she was sitting at the bar and female came up to her and hit RP in the face and grabbed her hair, pulled her forcing RP’s head down. Female’s husband grabbed the same side of her hair also forcing RP’s head down. RP started swinging to get them away from her and made contact three times. 

12:31 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances on US Highway 85. RP said leaving Lingle, car battery on side road. South side of the road. Then saw another in Henry just after steel building on south side. 

7:05 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances on East H Street. Two daughters are wanting to pick a fight with the stepdad and mom. RP was on the phone with the stepdad and heard the girls yelling at parents. 

Feb. 7 

5:44 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances on Road 47. RP woke up to get a drink and thinks she heard a bang on the north side of the house. Just wants a deputy to drive by. 

11:53 a.m. – motor vehicle accident on US Highway 85/Road 42. RP advising that he rear ended a passenger car. RP in a semi-truck. 

12:40 p.m. – Juvenile problem on East L Street. RP has not seen 16-year-old son since Tuesday. He was told there was nothing that could be done so he called for advice. RP was informed his son could be reported as a runaway. 

2:30 p.m. – Structure fire on West C Street. Smoke coming out of the middle building. 

6:22 p.m. – Grass fire on Road 47. RP had a control burn from last week start back up and the RP is needing help getting it put out. 

11:32 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances on East F Street. The neighbors upstairs have moved out and it sounds like the door is open or someone is messing with the apartment. She has attempted to call the manager and has not gotten in contact with them. She is trying to sleep, and it sounds like the door is banging.  

Feb. 8 

10:54 a.m. – Animal call on East C Street. RP advising that he knows of someone who has five blue heelers in the house, and he would like this looked into since he knows he has more animals than is allowed. 

4:20 p.m. – Welfare check on East E Street. RP advising that her 92-year-old uncle is missing, and she has been trying to reach him since Christmas. She has not been able to reach him which is unusual. She has someone drive past his house and they said it does not look like he is living there. RP advising that she is also worried about elder abuse from the son and his sixth wife. She believes that they may be interfering with the contact between the two. 

5:16 p.m. – Vandalism on Road 47 F. RP advising that his internet cables were snipped at the box. RP advising that he has not been notified by internet company that they did this. 

8:34 p.m. – Animal call on McKenna Road. In the area to the east there is a dog that is barking nonstop for about two months. RP doesn’t know who the owner is or what house but would like a deputy to check and make contact.

8:48 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances on Main Street. RP was at her daughter’s house and when she went to leave there was a dark colored Chevy truck with a man and a woman taking pictures of all of the houses in the area. The man was driving, and the woman had a tablet on the passenger side. They saw the RP and backed up and then just kept going.
