GOSHEN COUNTY – Goshen County School District (GCSD) Board Treasurer Bob Peterson tendered his resignation on Wednesday and the district is seeking to fill his now vacant position through November 2024.
In a notice to the Telegram, GCSD announced it was seeking applications for a now vacant Board of Trustees position after Peterson tendered his resignation earlier this week.
“Notice is hereby given that the Goshen County School District No.1 Board of Trustees is accepting applications for the replacement of School Board member Bob Peterson, with a term through November 2024,” GCSD notice read.
Adding, “Eligible Goshen County residents interested in this position are to submit the eligibility verification form, a letter of application, and resume to the attention of: Board Chairman, Mr. Michael Sussex.”
Applicants must fill out a verification form, which is available at the Central Administration Office or www.goshen1.org. Applications are due by 3 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023. Interviews will be scheduled for Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 6 p.m. Appointment to the board will commence on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.
