TORRINGTON – Memorial services for Patricia Galvan, 49, will be held at 2p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at Riverside Church of Christ with Pastor Lonnie Crowe officiating. Private family burial will take place at a later date. Patricia died Dec. 11, 2017 at Community Hospital and cremation has taken place. Memorials to the family to help with funeral expenses would be appreciated. The Colyer Funeral Home assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
Patricia was born Dec. 6, 1968 in Torrington, Wyoming the daughter of Guillermo and Rita (Dominguez) Galvan. She grew up and received her education in Torrington. After school she moved to Wichita, Kansas where she lived for a time and worked as a cook in a nursing home. She later moved back to Torrington and worked off and on for Holly Sugar Corporation. She enjoyed painting rocks.
Patricia is survived by her mother Rita Galvan, sisters Christina (Ben) Morgan, Marlene Galvan, Angela (Ted) Carr, brothers Guillermo (Claudia) Galvan, Leo Galvan, all of Torrington, Wyoming, a sister Charlene Galvan of Rapid City, South Dakota, her best friends Liandro Martinez and Tommy Garcia of Torrington, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an unborn child, her father, her sister Marlena, and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
