Murphy, Halley selected for WCA All-Star game

CASPER – The Torrington High School girls’ basketball program will be well represented for the Wyoming Coaches Association North-South All-Star Game on July 21 at T-Bird Gym in Casper.

The Lady Trailblazers will send one player and one coach on the South team in the girls’ basketball game – Logan Murphy and THS head coach Jeff Halley.

Murphy led the Lady Blazers, averaging 9.5 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Her rebounding totals ranked fourth in Class 3A in rebounds.

The volleyball and basketball teams will meet in Casper on July 18 for three days of practices and activities.

The All-Star volleyball game begins at 1 p.m. at T-Bird Gym on the Casper College campus, while the girls’ basketball game starts at 3 p.m. and the boys’ basketball game at 5 p.m.
