TORRINGTON – Marvin Buckley of Torrington died Nov. 19, 2017, at Banner Community Hospital in Torrington.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Buckley was born Feb. 22, 1952, the son of Howard and Barbara Buckley. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, enlisting in 1977, serving until receiving an honorable discharge in 1993. He loved hunting and fishing, working on clocks, and assisting his neighbors.
Mr. Buckley is survived by his mother, Barbara, his wife of 38 years, Linda, daughters Karen, Kathy and Kim, a brother, Randy and his wife, Barbie, eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, sisters Debbie and Nancy and a granddaughter, Melissa.
