RIVERTON, Utah – Lynne Lucia (Bornemann) Thomas was born to Rev. William H. Bornemann and Leona Borneman in Torrington, Wyoming on Oct. 4, 1947. She died Nov. 20, 2022 in Riverton.

Lynne attended Torrington schools through her sophomore year, where she was a cheerleader at THS. The family moved to Cheyenne in 1963, where Lynne graduated from Cheyenne East High School in 1965. She attended the University of Wyoming in Laramie for a year and half, then earned a degree at Laramie County Community College.

Lynne worked as a floral designer in Cheyenne. It was there she met James Thomas. They were married in July of 1972 and spent their honeymoon in Hawaii. Lynne was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in May of 1973, a disease she fought valiantly these many years, always with a smile.

Jim worked for Western Airlines, and was transferred to Phoenix, then Denver. When Delta bought Western, they moved to Salt Lake City in September of 1987.

Lynne is survived by her husband, Jim of Riverton; daughter, Michelle of Arlington, VA; brother, James (Nancy) Bornemann, Buena Vista, Colorado; sisters Marcia (Ronald) Pfister, of Denver, Colorado; and Dorothy (John) of Riverton; adopted brother Keith Llewellyn (Sharon) of Wichita, Kansas; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral Services were held Nov. 23 in Riverton.
