TORRINGTON – Louis Holiday, 89, passed away Jan. 22, 2020, in Torrington, of pneumonia at Goshen Healthcare Center.
He was born on Oct. 7, 1930, in West Allis, Wisc., to Louis and Rose Holiday. He went out West as a teenager to be a cowboy, only interrupting those years with a two-year stint in the Army Airborne. After several years working in feed yards, he got a job as salesman, then sales manager at Walco, Int., working there for 34 years.
He was predeceased by his parents and sister Rose.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, children Austin (Ana), Brigitte and Miles, ex-son-in-law Larry, grandchildren Sierra, Rowan and Ulysses and niece Linda Lubach.
Services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, at St. Anthony Church in Guernsey.
