MITCHELL, Neb. – Torrington’s Zaelynn Hand, who turns three in October, competed in the Cowgirl Pageant Thursday at the Scotts Bluff County Fair in Mitchell.
As one of the younger competitors, Hand was up against some stiff competition. It was the first pageant she participated in, although she was entered in the cutest baby contest two years ago at the Goshen County Fair.
“I try to get her out to do things. I thought this would be fun,” Nicole Jolovich, Hand’s mom, said. “Everybody tells me I have the most beautiful daughter and I thought this is something small she can do.”
