TORRINGTON – LeRoy enjoyed fishing, traveling and playing cards with the family. He also liked animals. He and his wife adopted several cats and dogs in their lifetimes.
He took good care of Charlotte when she had a major stroke. They struggled at home until Charlotte could no longer walk. She went to Goshen Care Center and Leroy went every day to be with her.
A celebration of his life will be held May 22 in the Valley View Cemetery where he will be buried with his wife at 10 a.m.
LeRoy Ray Johnson, 86, passed away Nov. 20, 2020 at Torrington Community Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sister, spouse Charlotte, daughter and a grandson.
He is survived by a sister and two brothers, two children, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
