CHEYENNE – The Eastern Wyoming College volleyball team ended the regular season with a road victory over the Laramie County Community College Lady Golden Eagles on Saturday afternoon in Cheyenne.
After winning the first set 25-15, the Lady Lancers dropped the second set 25-21.
EWC bounced back to win sets three and four 25-17, 25-17 to pick up a 3-1 victory.
Sophomore Vanja Przulj led the Lady Lancers with 18 kills, while freshman Alyssa George added 15. Freshman Lejla Viteskic had 10. Freshman setter Ivona Zarin dished out 23 assists, and Devyn Volz added 16. Przulj also had a team-high 15 digs, while Viteskic recorded five blocks.
Eastern Wyoming ends the regular season with a 14-11 overall record with a 4-4 record in the North Division.
The Lady Lancers now turn their attention to the Region IX Tournament which will be held in Casper.
