SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. – The Torrington High School volleyball team went 0-6 at the Twin Cities Tournament in Scottsbluff, Nebraska over the weekend.
In fact, the Lady Blazers won only two sets all weekend.
On Friday during pool play, Torrington fell to Ogallala, Nebraska 2-0 (25-19, 25-9), McCook, Nebraska 2-0 (25-20, 25-17) and to Scottsbluff 2-0 (25-16, 25-14).
During Saturday’s bracket portion of the tournament, Torrington fell to St. Thomas Moore (Rapid City, South Dakota), 2-0 (25-21, 25-15). In the next round, the Lady Blazers fell to 3A Southeast conference foe Burns 2-1 (25-18, 23-25, 25-21). In the final match of the weekend, Rapid City Stevens defeated Torrington, 2-1 (25-7, 23-25, 25-23).

Torrington (3-10) is back in action Friday at home against Newcastle (9-12). First serve is scheduled for 4 p.m.
