CEDEREDGE, Colo. – Jerry Rodean Harris left this world on May 6, 2019, at his home in Cederedge.
Jerry was born Feb. 15, 1952, in Torrington to Rodney and Esther (Ehrlich) Harris. Jerry was a carpenter for many years and the last 25 years, worked in carnivals in Texas and surrounding states.
Jerry retired to Torrington in July 2016 because of ill health and, in November 2018, moved to his brother’s home in Cederedge.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his mother; a brother, Rodney Jr.; a son, Jeramia and step-mother Shirley (Rod).
He is survived by his father Rod of Torrington; Brother john of Cederedge; two sisters Lana (Steve) Snyder, Cheyenne and Elizabeth (Beth) Harris, Fort Collins, Colo.; sister-in-law Sharon (Rod Jr.) Harris of Loveland, Colo.; two half-brothers, David (Angie) Harris, Severance, Colo., and Richard (Kim) Harris, Colorado Springs, Colo.; son Jethro, Denver, Colo.; two daughters, Jamie Harris, Fort Collins, and Effie (Jeramia) Lufur, Ogallala, Neb; 11 grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Jerry requested no services be held. A get together of family and friends will be 2 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at the Golden Homes Social Hall, 2133 East F St.
