GREELEY, Colo. – Irineo “Eddie” Ronquillo, 71, of Greeley was called to be with the Lord on May 13, 2019. 

He was born Jan. 24, 1948, in Majistral Durango, Mexico to Manuel and Luciana Regalado.

Eddie was employed for 40 years at the Holly Sugar Beet factory in Torington before retiring.

He enjoyed watching football and wrestling and loved listening to music, singing, playing cards and going to the lake. He liked to invent new games for the kids to play. He looked forward to yearly trips to Chihuahua and El Paso to visit his extended family.

Eddie is survived by his daughters, Mary Ann (Uri) Saldivar, Rita Ronquillo, Monica Ronquillo and Melissa Ronquillo, all of Greeley; grandchildren, Stefani Ronquillo, Jazmin Ronquillo, Lucia Dela Cruz, Hilary Saldivar, Michael Dela Cruz, Janae Saldivar and Paulina Ramirez, also of Greeley; sister, Paula Mendez of El Paso, Texas; brothers, Jaime Mendez of El Paso, Facundo and Fidel Ronquillo of California and Mario and Jose Luis Ronquillo of Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Hortencia Peralta, and his parents.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2019, followed by the Rosary at 7 p.m., both at Adamson Funeral and Cremation Services, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2019, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 1311 3rd Street, Greeley.
