TORRINGTON – Harry Parker Earl, Jr., 82, was born on March 12, 1936, in Syracuse, Neb., and died July 6, 2018, in Torrington. His parents were Harry Parker Earl, Sr. and Mildred (Falk) Earl. He grew up in Syracuse, where he graduated from high school in 1954. 

He moved to Wyoming in 1955, where he worked briefly at the Harris ranch near JayEm, then for Patrick Brothers for over 30 years. After retirement, he enjoyed archaeology and worked at curating artifacts while he was able. He loved his family, Wyoming, ranching and archaeology.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Lucille Slosson and Patricia Barkman. He is survived by his wife Katheryne (Kit); children Leslie (Wade) Schoen, Mike (Catherine) Earl and Laura Earl; grandchildren AJ Russell and Aimee Russell; sisters Betty Hartman and Sharon Kruse; and numerous nieces and nephews.
At his request there will be no services. If desired, memorials may be sent to St. Joseph’s Children’s Home in Torrington or to the Western History Center near Lingle.
