COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Gary Dwayne Garrelts passed away on March 25, 2023, at his home in Colorado Springs. He was 58.
Gary was born on March 6, 1965, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to John Garrelts and Linda (Garrelts) Erdman. He graduated from Torrington High School in 1983. He attended the University of Wyoming.
He is survived by his mother, Linda (Bill) Erdman; sister, Shellie Erdman; ex-wife, Lisa Garrelts; son, Corey (Erika) Garrelts; daughter, Lacey (Brian) Skrdlant; daughter, Briley (J.P.) Pacheco; and grandchildren, Mayze, McCoy, Myka and Zaden.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Garrelts; his grandparents, Archie and Mae Garrelts; grandparents, Arnold and Willie Simonsen; uncle, Jerry Simonsen; cousin, Dale Watson; grandson, Miles; and aunts, Betty Hickman and Kay Garrelts.
Memorial service and interment to be announced at a later date.
