“We had two great weather days for our tournament, and the guys took advantage of it,” EWC head coach Zach Smith said. “Overall, the whole team played well, it was a great way to take advantage of our home course advantage.”
Tomas Kubata, from Prague, Czech Republic, shot 70 each day for a two-round total of 140 and the individual tournament victory.
“It felt great to shoot -9 as a team,” Smith said. “The guys at the golf course did a great job of getting the course in terrific shape. We are excited to head to Riverton this week for our last Region IX tournament of the year.”
