TORRINGTON – The Golf Coaches Association of American (GCAA) has released NJCAA Division I All-District Honorees and the All-American teams for the 2019-2020 season.
Five members of the Lancer team earned NJCAA Division I PING All-District I honors, while two were named to the NJCAA Division I PING All-American team.
Sophomores Mason Hale RJ Moya and JoVin Tan, along with freshmen Lucas Howell and Tomas Kubata were named to the All-District team. Kubata was a second team All-American, and Tan made the honorable team All-American team.
“It’s great to have so many of our players honored on these teams,” EWC coach Zach Smith said. “It’s a special honor for our sophomores, Mason, JoVin and RJ to end their time at EWC with these honors. I’m very thankful for the time I spent with all of the guys on the team this year. The sophomores will do well as they move on and I’m looking forward to next year’s team with our solid returners and our new incoming players.”
