Employees recognized for professional growth, development

TORRINGTON – Several instructors and staff of Eastern Wyoming College were honored recently for educational advances, certifications of professional development
and more.
Receiving recognition were:
■ Christine Chesser – Cosmetology Department Head and instructor received her Barber and Barber Instructor Licenses from the Wyoming Board of Barber Examiners.

■ Casey Debus – Library Director completed Fundamentals of Cataloging from the Association of Library Collections and Technical Services.
■ Dean Gorsuch – Welding Instructor received his certification from the American Welding Society and is a Certified Welding Inspector and Educator.
■ Edward Meyer – Human Resources Director completed his Certified Professional Credentials for HR Management.
■ Jamie Michael – Veterinary Technology instructor completed her Master of Science in Veterinary Medical Sciences from the University of Florida.
■ John Nesbitt – English and Spanish instructor published “Destiny at Dry Camp” with Five Star Publishing.
■ Mai Lee Olson – Admissions Coordinator received her Master of Science in Agricultural Education and Studies from Iowa State University.
■ Karen Posten – Outreach Senior Administrative Assistant received her Graphic Design Career Diploma from Ashworth College.
