DOUGLAS – The Lingle-Fort Laramie Doggers held a 10-point halftime lead over the Normative Services Wolves, but lost 53-48, ending their season after their second loss at the 1A East Regional Tournament.
NSI took an early lead by a banked three-pointer at the end of the first quarter by Scott Gilchriest gave L-FL the 11-10 lead after the first quarter. By halftime, the Doggers were up 32-22. NSI had a huge third quarter, exploding for 19 points, while limiting L-FL to eight, giving the Wolves a 41-40 lead after three. NSI added some distance in the fourth quarter to secure the five-point win.
The loss came on the heels of a 72-61 loss to Hulett and eliminated the Doggers from the 1A East Regional Tournament, ending their season.
