Emma Edmunds cuts one of the first locks off her grandfather, Bill Pickerel, on Friday during the annual Cut-A-Thon in Torrington. Pickerel donated his hair to be cut in sections, with residents purchasing the right to clip each section, to raise money for the Goshen Senior Friendship Center.
