Southeast and Lingle-Fort Laramie high schools had wrestlers scheduled to compete on the second day.

HANNA – The annual Carbon County Invite hosted by Hanna-Elk Mountain was cancelled after only one day of the two-day event due to winter weather and road closures in the area.
Southeast and Lingle-Fort Laramie high schools had wrestlers scheduled to compete on the second day.
The two schools had a combined nine grapplers reach the semifinal round of their respective weight classes.
L-FL’s Zane Rising went 2-0 to reach the semifinal, while Landon Norris and Ty Prall were still alive for the Doggers in the consolation semifinal round.
The Cyclones took eight wrestlers and had six in the semifinals and one in the wrestle back rounds.
Grant Logsdon, Brock Blevins, Wyatt Mackey, Greg Logsdon, Tate Carson, and Will Baker were in the semifinals, while Kaden Brothwell was still alive in the consolation side of the bracket.
This weekend, Lingle-Fort Laramie hosts the 2A East Regional Tournament on Saturday. In addition to the two Goshen County schools, Glenrock, Hanna-Elk Mountain, Hulett, Moorcroft, Niobrara County, Saratoga, Sundance, Tongue River and Wright will converge on Lingle to determine who will advance to the WHSAA State Wrestling Championships the following week in Casper.
Action begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22.
